"It started with my sister. She was constantly doomscrolling Pinterest, sending me screenshot after screenshot of stuff trending in the US, always asking the same thing — "where do I get this in India?" I actually went looking. Properly looking. And I couldn't find one decent place that sold what she wanted.
So I did what anyone does next — I went digging through Quora and Reddit to see if other people were stuck on the same problem. Turns out, a lot of people were. A whole crowd staring at the same Pinterest boards, wanting the same things, with nowhere to actually buy them.
That's when it clicked. I picked out the categories that kept showing up — decor, gifting, organizers — and since we already run our own acrylic manufacturing unit, I just started making samples of whatever we could pull off ourselves.
And that's where the name comes from too. "Lime" is the trend part — the color, the vibe, the stuff everyone's saving on Pinterest but can't find anywhere. "Metal" is us — the manufacturing side, the part where someone actually has to make the thing instead of just reselling it. Put the two together and that's exactly what we do: take the look everyone's chasing and actually build it, instead of slapping a markup on an import.
That first batch of samples turned into a lot more. 15,000+ people who'd been hunting for these products for years finally had somewhere to go — us."
